When Jesus prayed for His followers in John 17, His request was simple yet profoundly challenging: “That they may all be one... so that the world may believe.”

For too long, the Church has let denominational differences, traditions, and building walls keep us isolated from one another. But here at The Body United, we believe that our shared faith in Christ is infinitely stronger than any of the secondary issues that divide us.

When we gather at the foot of the cross, we are all reminded of our shared need for a Savior. In that light, our differences become irrelevant. Imagine what El Paso could look like if every believer, regardless of their church background, stepped out of their sanctuaries and joined hands to serve this city.

Unity doesn't mean uniformity. We can celebrate the diverse gifts, worship styles, and callings that God has placed across His Church. But when we pool our resources, our passions, and our love for our neighbors, we transform from isolated congregations into a citywide movement.

Let’s commit to being the answer to Jesus’ prayer. Let’s break down the walls, step out in faith, and show our city what the love of Christ truly looks like when His Body is united.
