"One Body. One Spirit. One Heart . One Cry.” (Acts 4:32)
The Body United was born out of a deep passion to see believers come together as one. Our founder, Teresa, saw the walls that separated churches, denominational lines, doctrinal differences, and traditions and longed for the unity described in the book of Acts.
With a vision to break down these barriers, Teresa wrote the mission statement for The Body United: to create a platform where God’s children can worship together, regardless of where they attend church.
In 2017, this vision became reality through El Paso Call to Worship an annual citywide worship gathering where believers from all backgrounds lift one sound to the Father. What began with 200 people has grown to over 1,000 in attendance, a testament to the hunger in our community for God’s presence.
For Teresa, worship is not just music, it’s a response to God’s goodness. After witnessing miraculous healing in her own family, her desire to see God move in El Paso only grew stronger. Today, The Body United stands as a movement dedicated to unity, worship, and the belief that when we come together in one accord, we will see God move powerfully.
