We are The Body United

About The Body United

Dr. Teresa Anekwe is President and Founder of The Body United. Her passion has been cultivating and hosting the presence of God in her personal life, her home and her community. This passion led to bible studies where friends get together to worship and linger in His presence. El Paso Call to Worship was born out of such sessions when it was evident to Teresa that more people in her community need to experience this unrestrained abandon. In this current climate of separation and isolation, The Body United has a mandate to host this worship event annually and bring people together to experience God’s presence through Spirit-filled worship. It is her firm belief that at the foot of the cross, we are united in our need of a Savior and our differences become irrelevant in light of Christ’s sacrifice.
